The National Library of Greece (NLG) has been awarded in 2021 the accreditation of the Erasmus+ KA120 programme in the field of adult education, in order to carry out transnational staff mobility activities in collaboration with other Libraries and important cultural institutions of Europe.
The aim of this long-term project is to encourage a culture of lifelong learning for adult education within the Library. Its main objectives are the development of quality and attractive learning activities for the public, the enhancement of the life skills of its readers through digital literacy activities, the upgrading of the social role of the Library in an inclusive approach and the creation of tools for the promotion of Greek and European cultural heritage.
