6th mobility: Erasmus+ at the Communication and Events Team

The visit of employees from the Public Relations Department of the State Library of Berlin to the National Library of Greece (NLG) was successfully completed with the Erasmus+ mobility program from September 18 to 29, 2023.

The employees, Pia Beckmann, head of social networks and online communication, and Kristina Hilger, member of the Events and Exhibitions team of the State Library of Berlin, conducted training for the Communication and Events team of the NLG with the following goals:

• Exchange of management practices and communication between the State Library of Berlin and the National Library of Greece.
• Presentation of the organization of activities, events, and exhibitions of the State Library of Berlin.
• Strengthening the impact of social media on NLG activities with an emphasis on its educational and training activities.

Finally, they were guided through the NLG facilities in the Botanic Garden, the Vallianio Building, and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
