As part of the Erasmus+ programme and the Accredited project for staff mobility on the sector of Adult Education at the NLG, Ioanna Vrentzou, an employee of the Cataloging Department, visited the National Library of Finland and other libraries in the country (Oodi, Pasila City Library, etc.) from March 4 to March 7, 2024.
During her visit, she participated in workshops organized by the National Library of Finland, focusing on the development of digital literacy as an essential component of adult education and lifelong learning. Additionally, she was informed about techniques applied in University Libraries in the country, which explore the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the education of University students.
Finally, she presented the work of the cataloging department, enhancing the impact of the department’s work on an international audience and exploring possibilities for future collaboration aimed at knowledge exchange.
